The “first-of-its-kind” active packaging solution is now being utilized for a variety of seafood products at a leading US retailer. The proprietary SeaWell system features integrated technology that absorbs excess liquids that would otherwise accumulate around the seafood, causing potential product breakdown and negatively impacting shelf life.
