04 Jul 2023 --- Eviosys has launched a food can with a peelable foil directly sealed on the body of the can, branded Ecopeel. The solution is said to reduce the carbon footprint of canned food items by up to 20%. The Ecopeel design intends to help businesses achieve their environmental sustainability objectives, driving the move away from plastic and enhancing inclusivity, convenience and branding opportunities for customers and end-users. The solution, an “industry-first,” replaces the traditional ring-pull with foil and is notably lighter.
