The new Proseal GT3S features a unique three axis pick and place system that is able to transfer filled packs quickly to the sealing area. The system can handle carton widths of up to 110mm and the single point size adjustment means changeovers between pack sizes can be carried out in less than five minutes.
The system also incorporates automatic carton de-nesting and erecting and can be integrated with label applicators, printers, checkweighers and metal detectors for a complete sandwich packing operation. The V style outfeed conveyor ensures packs are perfectly presented for the coding operation.
The unique GT3SV incorporates gas flushing into the sealing operation for extended shelf life while still delivering speeds of up to 60 packs per minute.
Both models feature Proseal’s advanced ‘EcoSeal’ system which reduces total energy consumption by over 65%, while increasing machine productivity through a reduced seal time. The robust food industry approved hygienic construction includes full washdown protection. The user-friendly menu-driven control panel with step-by-step prompts, error and status displays and batch pack counter is pendant mounted for full double sided operation.
Another pioneering standard feature is Proseal’s new Internet based secure gateway connection system that is able to provide real time data and error condition support. The system enables Proseal engineers to remotely access the PLC and HMI (touch screen) of each customer’s machine from anywhere in the world, to provide diagnostic support and implement software modifications.
Proseal is also developing a second GT3S model which will incorporate the company’s E-Seal® technology.
