This issue was raised by one scientist in Switzerland, who reported elevated levels of mineral oils in a number of food stuffs. However, following a further review of current available information, the food safety authorities in the UK, Germany and even in Switzerland have all concluded that this is not a health concern and no immediate action is needed.
