KHS at Drinktec 2022: Carbon-cutting rPET bottles for doubled shelf life

Speaking at Drinktec 2022, Arne Wiese, product management at KHS, presents the 0.5 L Loop Lite 100% recycled PET bottle. The lightweighted design has enabled the bottle’s weight to be reduced by up to 25% compared to current market standards. Moreover, due to an innovative glass coating, the bottle’s shelf life is practically twice that of conventional bottles, helping cut the carbon footprint by 60%.
