Herwin Wichers, Market Development Director at Smurfit Kappa, describes the carbon reduction and recyclability qualities of the paper-based TopClip multi-pack beverage carrier during Packaging Innovations 2020 in Birmingham, UK. Recently brought to market for the first time by Dutch beer brewer Grolsch, the TopClip produces on average 30 percent lower carbon footprint than plastic alternatives and is also 100 percent renewable, recyclable and biodegradable.
