The fresh produce packaging supplier’s modified atmosphere bulk packaging – under the brand name Xtend – is custom engineered for each individual fruit or vegetable type. This innovation marks a significant step toward eliminating food waste and loss (FWL) in the post-harvest production cycle, the 12th of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 12).
